A "Life is good" Genuine Neighborhood Shoppe is coming to the Peabody Place office tower next year.
Former retail consultant Kelly Smith won approval of a $40,000 forgivable loan from the Center City Development Corp. on Wednesday to help open the store.
It will sell "Life is good" branded apparel, including T-shirts and fitness gear. Anticipated opening date is March 29, Smith said.
Smith signed a 10-year lease with Belz Enterprises for the ground-floor space at 100 Peabody Place, Suite 175, formerly used for storage.
