Travel manager gets prison for embezzling $825,000

SANTA ANA – A travel manager has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for embezzling more than $825,000 to fraudulently book flights for himself and others and to make luxury purchases, including Super Bowl tickets and lavish parties for his friends.


Jeremy Kealoha Belisario, 38, formerly of Irvine, pleaded guilty Friday to three counts of grand theft, fraudulently using an access card, two counts of identity theft, two counts of acquiring access card information without permission and one count of embezzlement by an employee. He also admitted to sentencing enhancements for aggravated white-collar crime over $500,000 and property damage over $150,000.
